Lake: Whether your relaxing-or playing-it's
the place to be. The lake season kicks off Memorial weekend, with a
bundle of parties at all the hot spots. Woodard hollow is the
perfect area for a family to relax and enjoy the beauty of the lake
or you may want to party a little or a lot in the famous Dripping Springs
cove of Grand Lake.
One of the
most spectacular fireworks shows is presented in Duck Creek around
July 4th, also the home of many yacht clubs that offer fine dining
with membership.
Like to fish? Head towards sailboat bridge and you
will be in heaven. Boat parking is great at the Hickory Inn. No
boat? No worries! Many fishing guide services are available on the
lake. With over 1300 miles of shoreline Grand Lake is home to some
of the best bass fishing in the world.
Do you
just want to relax? Along with the densely populated coves there are
also many quiet coves. Drop the anchor and just soak up the rays.
Be sure to visit Har-Ber
Village if you have never been. The outdoor village style
museum is unlike any other you have seen. You will not regret
it.
Antique shopping in Grove is a
dream. Lots of nick-knack shops and antique markets await your
arrival. Lots of area shopping opportunities will not
disappoint your desire to spend.
